As we move into 2024, SILA will be taking on a larger role within IMAGO. We are grateful to have been included in these discussions from the very beginning, and are grateful to have been asked to take on a more meaningful role within the movement.

 

The IMAGO initiative is a movement focused on reimagining conservation through an Indigenous lens. You can learn more by watching the following video, shot in 2021.

 

These trips intentionally include voices from all areas of the spectrum. We do our best to invite a mix of Indigenous Peoples, Elders, Conservations Organization Representatives, Activists, Knowledge Bearers and so many more.
